So I was so frustrated yesterday trying to get Olympic coverage (of any kind!), I got in my car and drove out of town to a friend's house. And then the watching commenced! We watched synchronized diving, beach volleyball, soccer, handball, weightlifting, swimming, and water polo. While they were announcing the names of the coches for the US women's water polo team, I noticed that one name sounded ridiculously familiar. So I thought, and thought, and thought, and by the end of the second quarter, I figured it out. My water polo club coach from high school is an assistant coach for the US team! How cool is that?
I feel so much more relaxed today. Ahhhh....
